WYM Group Managing Director Allan Wilson and technical project manager Austen Brunton are delighted to be featured on this Sky Sports film on the forthcoming Extreme E series, which starts this weekend.
It tells the story of how our team led the transformation of the St Helena over an 18 month period into a new floating paddock and base for the sport, transporting the championship’s infrastructure, including vehicles, to each of the five race locations.
Our team has overseen an extensive multi-million-pound refit, including a 30 years Lloyds special survey and obtaining MCA passenger ship certificate, and she’s now ready to act as a freight and logistics hub for Extreme E, which will see teams of all-electric vehicles race in remote parts of the world.
